Map Calibrator is a surprisingly pleasant freeware for creating map slices from large bitmap image files, and doing all kinds of map calibration work. The application can handle .jpg, .bmp as well as .gif image files and all that the user needs to do is to fix up couple of points to get the calibrated image. It facilitates provision for converting .gif and .bmp files into .jpg format as well.
